You say you know Jesus, but does Jesus know you?
MATTHEW 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Who are these people that claim to know Jesus, while Jesus does not know them? You and I certainly do not want to be among those Jesus never knew. So, how can we know if He knows us?
JOHN 14:15
If you love me, keep my commandments.
JOHN 14:23
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
