Our Staff

Marc joined the Preaching Staff at The Lisbon COC in 2015. He has a passion for Christ and has dedicated his life to serving the Lord. He was born in raised in Columbiana County. When he is not enjoying his Wife’s home-cooked food or biking, you can find him spending some serious quality time with his beloved children, Marc and Hannah. Please come and get to know Marc!

Matt is a graduate of Brown Trail School of Preaching, graduating in 1996. He has been blessed to do mission work for our Lord in the following Places:

• Ukraine, in the city of Donestk
• Russia, in the cities of Moscow and Saint Petersburg
• Latvia, in the city of Riga

For the past 15 years he has been working in East Africa in the country of Tanzania. Here, he has established numerous congregations and several schools of preaching. Matt was an associate minister in Alvord Texas for 2 years, held the pulpit position in Porter OK. For 6 ½ years, held the pulpit position at the Johnson St. Church of Christ for four years, held the pulpit position in Sayre OK. For 5 years, held the pulpit position in Hooker OK for 4 years, and is the pulpit minister in Lisbon OH for just over a year and a half.

Matt has two grown children, a son named Andrew, and a daughter named Nicole.

Nicole has married Michael Barton and they have one daughter, Isabella. She is Matt’s only grandchild.
